SMOKE DETECTORS
This simple device is the only thing that will save your life if a fire occurs while sleeping in most cases. We have had more than one fire where a melted glob of plastic was the only reason a person or family was still alive. I can't overstress the seriousness of the need to have and maintain a system of smoke alarms in all areas of indoor space.
